Title:

WOOOT so i written a journal in a very long time.  Anyways i just finished the first piece that was assigned... the still life, it looks pretty sweet. I think that i want to do something in the background because right now there is a lot of white space that I'm not sure i really like the giant white space. 

With my concentration i have two pieces that are about 50% done, just a pencil sketched outline. I still need to figure out how to add in the 2d man but i'll figure it out. I've been sketching in my sketchbook a lot. 

I drew a scene from the deer stand i sat in for a really long time.  from memory, i'm normally not very good at drawing from memory so i was pretty proud of myself for it. I'll be sure to post it later. 

art?

so this weekend i'll be hunting in northern wisconsin. I'll be bringing my sketchbook with so when i have some time i'll get some drawings done but i really dont expect much from it all. Crap i'm so far behind.

hm

my friend who isnt an artist was askin me about AP art and what we have to do. i told him and he thought of an idea.... kinda random and i'm not sure if i would want to do this, but i might as well talk about it. so make a town of sign people, so people off of the triangular signs that show that its a cross walk. i thought it was comical maybe just a normal piece of work....

Concentration IDEA

I really really liked Charlie Umbargers concentration theme. And i was thinking it would be cool to maybe do something along the lines of that. Maybe the theme back to eden would be quality. I could draw ruins and show how nature takes over human structures when human influence is gone tie in the apocalypse or something as a reason for there being no more humans. I could draw very recognizable structures i.e. golden gate bridge, statue of liberty, eiffel tower.. ect ect.  

i think the picture i've attached shows what i would want to achieve. let me know what you think.

THE FINISHED PRODUCT!!! WOOT 

Well after checking out all those crazy good drawings today i decided to open up my sketchbook and actually have more then two drawings there. so i got this far and decided it was time for bed but thought i would share it. i was having trouble coming up with something to draw (with sharpies i just got) and was like well my background on the comp is cool i'll draw that. and here it is.

doing something like this would be soooooo coool. not on a sidewalk but... on paper. perspective drawings and such. simple/effect if done well.

Concentration

Hmmmm, well contrary to what strombeezy said to the class about how everyone will love the can drawing i am not such a giant fan of it. I really did like however doing the portrait sketch. maybe i could do something along the lines of that, not really self portraits but do pictures of other people and get more into that... whatever.

Maybe i could do some concept design for a product. Since as a future career i'm considering product management. just some thoughts.

This is a drawing I did a few weekends ago.

I found that I really enjoyed using the sharpie to draw with.

I don't know if I'll have any time to do any more sketches like this due to the immense amount of work that the class is producing.
